The year 2020 has witnessed alot of downturns, which has greatly affected the global economy. Some of the big losers this year are the music, travel, restaurants, and entertainment industries, which has witnessed a significant decrease in demand due to the coronavirus outbreak. Before the global crisis, these two sectors used to be the biggest employers of labor, but the case is different today.

Speaking with the self styled “Multi-Million Dollar Lawyer”, Skinner Louis, he stated that “despite the crisis, people are discovering new ways of doing things.” As founder ‘The Louis Law Firm’, which is based in Florida, Mr. Louis has witnessed the adverse effects of the covid pandemic, not just in his business, but also on the entertainment and tourism industries. Skinner Louis says, “social life has forever changed in Florida. Although, I live in Orlando, I love to travel to South Florida for entertainment, but the area has been shut down due to covid-19. However, I have started enjoying how businesses are doing creative things like home deliveries and, even, virtual events. At my firm we have started doing virtual intakes with IPads and smart phones for our new clients, as well as video conference meetings with current clients and staff members.”

Skinner Louis is of the opinion that the pandemic has pushed people to diversify and has taught them to start planning in advance for the unexpected. “The pandemic has made us all realize the important things and also find alternative ways of doing things,” he says. “Before, people would schedule in person meetings over things that can easily be discussed and/or agreed over the phone or via a simple video call. Now, people are getting more comfortable with video chats.”

The world is becoming more creative and finding simple solutions to complex problems. “Imagine how fast a vaccine was discovered for this deadly disease. It’s because people figured out how to streamline processes that we took for granted before,” Skinner said.

Skinner Louis’ law firm is a full service insurance dispute and personal injury firm. The firm has handled thousands of insurance claims and has recovered millions of dollars for its clients.
