Matthew Gallagher’s life took a completely different course after the death of his father.
Matthew grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, and had always been an ambitious yet sensitive child. His life experiences had taught him many hard realities. He spent a portion of his childhood homeless and in trailer parks. His parents battled drug addiction and watching them made Matthew even more determined to do something in life. He got introduced to computers at a young age and began teaching himself coding till he became a pro at it. He began freelancing as a programmer after dropping out of university. He even explored acting in Hollywood and pursued his passion for a few years, working on different Hollywood projects. If only he knew how things would turn out for him.
After witnessing his father’s death, his view on life changed considerably. His father’s drug problem throughout his life and his succumbing to overdose left a grave mark on Matthew. He could not accept the fact that his father never experienced life so beautiful as he does or his family. The mixture of emotions and the feelings of trauma compelled him to seek a new personal and professional direction in life. Getting the inspiration from his father’s memento, a Rolex watch, Matthew decided to create a Watch Club that he named Watch Gang. The idea spread like wildfire amongst collectors of watches and within a year, he was able to create a solid business.
Although he was already a professional success and needed no additional accolades to his name, his company soared high in the first initial months and then gained consistency, turning him into a millionaire. The business runs a watch club that provides subscription services to the members, enabling them to get a surprise watch each month. His company has members from all across the world and he and his team are flawlessly facilitating subscribers in different parts of the world.
Matthew never dreamt of earning so much respect and money through such a major career shift in his life. Being part of such a rapidly evolving system is overwhelming for him but also very fulfilling. With the help of his platform, Matthew is raising funds and generating awareness regarding various social issues like homelessness, drug abuse, and poverty.
