•As Anderlecht leaks Onyekuru’s transfer details
EFL Championship outfit Hull City have been urged to make a move for Nigeria star Ahmed Musa.
Hull Daily Mail has suggested five players that can beef up the Tigers in the forthcoming season, with the Leicester City striker on its shortlist.
Newly appointed Hull City coach Leonid Slutsky has an excellent relationship with Musa, and the former CSKA Moscow manager was at Stamford Bridge in January to watch him in action against Chelsea.
The 24-year-old striker spent four and a half years with the Muscovites, netting 54 goals in 164 appearances.
Hull City have embarked on cost control measures following their demotion to the second tier, and it is envisaged that a loan move is their preferred option if they eventually bring Musa to the KCOM Stadium.
Meanwhile, Belgium club Anderlecht have sensationally leaked out information suggesting hot in demand KAS Eupen Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru will join West Ham.
Anderlecht were hoping they will be able to persuade the 20 year old Nigerian to join them using the fact that they are in the Champions League as a bait to lure the forward.
However a top club official told an online Belgium site that the player is out of their reach as he has told them in clear terms about his ambition to join West Ham.
He said the 8 million pounds West Ham are willing to offer as transfer fee is a fee they could match but the desire of the player to move to England, coupled with the amount he stands to earn in wages lead to his choice of the London side.
Already he has been granted a UK visa and he will arrive England before the end of this week to hold talks over his wages with West Ham, which will draw him a step closer to his dream of playing for Arsenal.
