Former Super Eagles’ Head Coach and iBet Nigeria Brand Ambassador Samson Siasia has vowed to use the platform created by betting company iBet Nigeria to discover more raw football talents from the grassroots and help prepare them for both the U-17 and U-20 national teams of Nigeria.
The former Eagle’s striker disclosed this in Abuja yesterday at the Garki, Abuja Office of iBet Nigeria.
“Anybody that is close to me knows that I am very passionate about discovering football talents from the grassroots. iBet has now given me the opportunity to discover more football talents for our junior national team as well as the Eagles too and trust me I won’t disappoint,” Siasia assured.
Also former Governor of Abia State Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu who was physically present at the launching of the betting company iBet Nigeria at the Jabi Lake Boat Club, Abuja on Monday commended iBet Nigeria Chairman Otunba Gbenga Elegbeleye for ensuring the betting company entered Nigerian market.
“I commend my friend, Hon Gbenga and his partners in iBet for what they’re doing. I am very proud and I believe it will help reawaken our interest in sports and contribute to the Nigerian economy,” he said.
The Director General of the National Arts and Culture Otunba Segun Runsewe who was also present at the launching highlighted the importance of the company to the Nigerian people.
