Priskeylia Tifu Dama, popularly known as Titi Dama is a Cameroon-born beauty entrepreneur.
She is also the founder and CEO of BraidsByTiti and the cosmetic company, Brighttiss LLC.

Titi Dama’s Origin
My name is Priskeylia Tifu Dama (Popularly known as Titi Dama). My origin can be traced back to the State of Ambazonia in Cameroon, specifically the English speaking part of Cameroon. I am from a family of 11, the last child of 8 siblings. My family is an integral and important part of my life and they make up a huge part of my success story.
I attended high school in Cameroon Protestant College (CPC BALI), and then I moved to South Africa to further my studies at the Academic Institute of Excellence, Midrand South Africa.
My work experience stems from Presbyterian Hospital in Mamfe Cameroon. I had a distinct period of service also at Leonardo Jewellery Hilton Hotel Sandton, South Africa. I would enlist my brands as part of my work experience profiling BRIGHTNESS SKIN CARE and BRAIDS by TITI, because during the course of operating these brands I learnt and mastered management. Both brands are the origin of my entrepreneurship journey.
Quest for entrepreneurial success
Actually, there is a limit where self motivation can carry you; there is always this supernatural motivation that comes with the grace of God. There were times I lost steam to keep moving on, but the consistent drive and hunger for success never ceased. Never losing focus on the prize.
The self motivation to be self made was like a recurring decimal, because at the back of my mind, I have it imprinted that there are people tied to me one way or the other and while I’m still alive I am mandated to give them a lift in every way possible.
The turning point in my quest of entrepreneurship was a period when I attended entrepreneurship summit years back. The experience was the game changer for me. It gave a new dimension and direction on how to effectively run a business productively without getting frustrated. I thank God I did not pass on the opportunity to acquire such a positive impact. I will advise youths to maximize every opportunity that comes with acquiring useful information and knowledge in their various fields, niches and businesses.
Establishing Brighttiss.com and what makes the brand different
Brighttiss.com was established in 2013, and the range of products currently are numerous.

Keeping up with Beauty Trends
The beauty sector is quite a large terrain and staying abreast with every trending beauty product come with its hassles. No Matter how tight or hectic my schedules might be, I intentionally create time for adequate research to keep myself updated about the trending beauty products and the craft out ideas on how it should be provided to the consumers.
Big lessons as an entrepreneur
Self discovery, Passion, Consistency, Failure
Diligence. All these lessons had a moulding effect on my path as an entrepreneur. Especially when you fail in something, it gives you a feeling that your world has ended and everything is falling apart.

Most memorable moment
I actually don’t have one specially but when I get tonnes of heartwarming feedback from my customers about the efficiency of my products, it is always memorable. It gives me a feeling of solving pressing problems for the customer base.
Foundational challenges
The challenges encountered was practically funding as a start up. Then came the challenges of reaching out to the right target market to push out my products and services.
All these challenges were surmounted as a result of constantly showing up “Consistency”. It took a couple of years, but it was worth it at the end.

My business role models are my late finance Prescott T Anyangwo and Zari the Boss lady
Zari has a business mind frame that I’m in love with. She is vibrant, independent, gorgeously beautiful, a boss lady, multi talented, philanthropist and a goal oriented individual.
Best and worst travel experience.
I don’t have any bad experiences. But my best experience in traveling is Learning. When I travel I tend to observe and look out for new things like infrastructure, culture, food, language and many more. So yeah, Learning has to be my best experience in traveling.
