With a desire to take her music to the next level, Dubai-based female Nigerian hiphop artiste, Fiyinfoluwa Bamidele popularly known as Fiyhona is motivated to go for more after the success of her debut single, ‘Say’.

With ‘Say’, Fiyhona, has registered her voice on the music radar. Produced by Ikom Boy Music, the artiste has been getting positive vibes about her music from her lovers. She plans to build on this and release new tunes that will help her deepen acceptability and establish her brand among Nigeria’s slew of Afrobeats artistes.

She disclosed, “From the first day I went to the studio in September, 2020, to when I released this song, everybody I know loved the song. They appreciate my efforts and this is what keeps me going. This made me feel like I can do it. They gave me this encouragement and backup. They loved the fact that I believed in myself and tried to do what I love doing most. I always sing where I lived during my university days, people loved me and call me to sing for them.”

Fiyhona explains more, “I would like the world to experience my first body of work as soon as possible. I’ve got a lot of things coming. I didn’t get into music just because I want to make money and be famous, I just love singing. I love entertainment, I’m a happy woman and what makes me happy is singing. I use music as my therapy. I love to sing, listen to music and entertaining people, and to do all these, I need to be happy from within. It is only a happy person that can make others happy with their songs.”

Starting music early at the age of nine, Fiyhona first joined the choir at her local parish of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) to hone her music skills and develop her passion. This continued when she gained admission to the University.
