Nigeria U18 and U20 men teams continued their impressive performance in the ongoing IHF African Trophy in Ivory Coast as they recorded victories in their third matches of the competition, BSNSports.com.ng report.
The U18 team who has recorded back-to-back wins in their opening two games defeated the Benin Republic 39-14.
The U20 team got the better of rival Ghana with a 38-23 to completely secure maximum points in the group.
The victories ensured that both Nigeria sides qualified for the semi-final of the competition.
Nigeria will know their semi-final opponents in the two categories when all-day three matches have been played.
The winners in both categories will participate in the continental phase of the IHF Trophy Tournament which will hold in Brazzaville, Congo from December 12- 18 2022
