IKA Germany (IKA Industrie – und Kraftfahrzeugausrüstung GmbH), a leading global player in the automotive aftermarket spare parts supplies, with customers in over 70 countries across five continents, has announced that it would be participating in the first Kaduna Automotive Spare Parts Exhibition and Stakeholders Conference.

The events are scheduled to hold in Kaduna, the Kaduna State capital,  from October 4 to 7, 2017.

The company explained that it would be using the exhibition being organised by Routes and Roads Nigeria Limited as a platform to launch out to the northern Nigerian market with the GeBe range of products, including its newly-introduced made-in-Germany GeBe premium water pumps for a wide range of vehicles.

The German automotive aftermarket spare parts supplier has, therefore, directed its  Authorised GeBe Trader and Agent in Nigeria and the rest of West Africa, Auto Report Africa, the Pan Africa automotive media agency, to commence preparations for the participation of the company at the exhibition.

Confirming IKA Germany’s participation in the Kaduna Autoparts Expo in October, the Managing Editor, Auto Report Africa, Olaolu Olusina, disclosed that the company would be showcasing GeBe range of products and the newly-introduced made-in-Germany premium water pumps for a wide range of vehicles.

Our marketing boxes for the exhibition have already been despatched from Germany and they should be here early this week. That is to show the importance IKA Germany attaches to the expo and the Nigerian market, “Olusina said. “ Auto Report Africa is not only taking IKA Germany to Kaduna, we are also going there as an official media partner of the exhibition.”

Mr. Geoffrey Faasema, Managing Director / CEO, Routes and Roads Nigeria Limited, organisers of the first Kaduna Autoparts Exhibition and Stakeholders Conference, also confirmed the participation of the German company at the exhibition, describing it as a boost to the event.

The participation by the German company is part of its efforts to fully launch into the West African markets and is also coming at a time many German companies are planning to return to Nigeria because of the current administration’s hard stance on corruption.
