Aka ji Ikukuoma Foundation has been Honoured with the Imo Philanthropic Award of the Year.
Aka ji Ikukuoma Foundation which was established few years ago out of the passion to put smiles on the faces of the down trodden by developing rural communities, was Honoured with the award following it’s outstanding contribution in touching lives in Imo State.
The foundation which was created to give aid to indigent women and widows, ensure the protection of the rights and privileges of the Girl Child and the Prisoners has no doubt affected several lives in Imo State and beyond.
The foundation is however charged with the responsibility of working for the overall development of the underprivileged persons, to hunt, train and develop the potentials of talented youths who are gifted in different kinds of sport.
The Aka ji Ikukuoma Foundation also assist in the provision of healthcare materials and also to provide scholarship and educational aids to the poor in the society.
Aka ji Ikukuoma Foundation founded by High Chief Dr. Summers VC Nwokie is a duly registered Non Governmental Charity Foundation. The founder has promised to continue putting smiles on the faces of the people of Imo and beyond as part efforts to fulfill his promise to the people of the state and God.
According to him, “we will continue working rigorously to break the chain of poverty beclouding our people from developing their God given potentials and to restore hope for a better tomorrow.”
