Sokoto State Governor of Sokoto, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has promised to abide by the results of the governorship and state assembly elections held yesterday in the state.
Tambuwal, who is seeking for reelection on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), arrived in Kofar Ajia polling units 011 in Tambuwal town, Tambuwal Local Government, about 12:17pm and subsequently cast his ballot amidst cheers from his supporters.
He said: “By the special grace of God, I am fully ready to accept the outcome of the election.
“From the reports I got on the field, everything seems to be going on perfectly, except for some few hitches.
“But generally, the process is going on very well and we hope that both INEC and the security agencies will continue to give their best”.
