National chairman of Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance (APDA), Alhaji Shitu Mohammed, says his party would mobilise Nigerians to fight against corruption without fear of persons, class, prejudice or bias.

Shitu said, “I will arrest my son, brother or relative or close associate if they are found to be corrupt.

“Sentiments of religion, tribe or class have only brought poverty, unemployment and grounded our country’s desire for economic progress.”
Shitu made the remark, on Sunday, during a routine visit to Adamawa State in order to flag-off the party’s activities.

Shittu continued, “It is high time that the issue of unemployment in the country is addressed. The future of the country lies in our children growing to find functional industries and companies where they can be gainfully employed”.
The party boss said, “he and his party officials have been going round the country to assess local potentials for industrial development with a view to setting up industries that will create employment in the country.
“My party as a nationalist party will fight against exporting raw farm produce like cotton or sugar cane which he noted is against the growth of  local industries and economy.”
The Adamawa State chairman of the party, Hon. Umar Bello said, “PDP and APC have failed the people of Adamawa and Nigerians and  APDA is ready to usher in an era of young, dynamic and vibrant leadership that will address the problems of millions of dissatisfied Nigerians.

Umar said,  “Since the turn of this current political dispensation in 1999, the quality of life of the average Nigerian has been diminished as a result of bad governance, resulting in escalating poverty, squalor, unacceptable living standards and poor developmental indices.
“APC was a failed political experiment that has dashed the hopes of millions of Nigerians and ushered another era of impunity, lawlessness, disregard for rules and regulations, corruption and massive theft.”
Hon. Umar Bello said, the emergence of APDA was buoyed by the “Glaring failures” of the political system that has led to collapse of social order which gave birth to the boko haram insurgency in the north east, militancy in the Niger Delta, armed banditry,  herdsmen insurrection, cattle rustling , kidnappings and secessionist agitations.
Umar pointed out that, “APDA was created to return power to Nigerians, change the so-called change, and steer the country to the path of glory and away from further drift.”
