A father of five children, identified as Maxwell Chiteh, and two other youths have lost their lives after setting ablaze of a truck containing an adulterated petroleum product called “kpofire”.

Daily Sun gathered that the incident occurred in Eteo community in Eleme Local Government Area of the state.

It was further disclosed that Maxwell, though not involved in “kpofire” business, met his untimely death after he held that a truck containing petroleum product was set ablaze close to his farmland.

Community sources disclosed that Maxwell, after hearing about the fire incident, rushed to his farmland, but could not return home, as he was gutted by fire. The sources further said the truck was allegedly set ablaze by a task force team on illegal oil bunkering set up by the council government.

The deceased, it was gathered, left behind his wife, Gift Maxwell, and five children.

Meanwhile, the identities of the other two youths, who lost their lives in the inferno could not be ascertained at the time of filing the report.
