Super Eagles and Hapoel Beer Sheva FC of Israel midfielder, John Oguh, has expressed his readiness for the new season, announcing that he is rearing to go beginning with the UEFA Champions League playoff starting today.

Oguh, who was full of praise to God for sparing his mother’s life after an undisclosed ailment, said his greatest target this season was to win titles with his Israeli clubside, help Super Eagles pick both the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the 2019 African Nations Cup tickets.

The Eagles midfielder who has become a twitter freak, equally wished his Eagles’ teammate, England-based Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme, well, promising to join others in praying for him.

Twitting his readiness for the new season, Oguh also revealed that God has been very faithful to him most recently, noting that he did not only win the league title back to back, but also won the Super Cup, played in the Europa league round of 32 and Toto Cup. He added: “Mum is alive, and ultimately I’m now a landlord in Lagos.”

While announcing that he had a daughter from his two year old marriage, he said: “I have worked and get myself prepared for the objectives ahead and I am looking forward to the UEFA Champions League (UCL) playoffs starting on Wednesday and I am feeling blessed.

Narrating the ordeal his mother’s health subjected his family, he said: “I saw my mother in tears for the first time and I thought it was over but she came through. He fought the battle for my family great God. I will always appreciate you God. Saving my mother’s life means a lot to me. I will never stop thanking and appreciating you. I love you Lord.”

Reacting the health of Carl Ikeme recently diagnosed of acute leukemia, Oguh said: “Our thoughts are with NIgeria Super Eagles goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme who has been dianosed with leukaemia. We will pray and rally round him at this time.”

He equally went down history lane on his relationship with Eagles stand-in captain, Ogenyi Onazi, Oguh recalled that he did not only bought him a ticket to Rome and accommodated him, but was also at Lazio training ground to watch him.

According to his tweet; “Many Never knew Onazi Ogenyi bought me a ticket to Rome to stay with him until I get a club. I appreciate you bro always. God bless you. Many Never knew I was at Lazio training ground watching my brother Onazi Ogenyi train wit his team then. If only football clubs were just 1/2.”
