INEC ad hoc staff yet to arrive polling units in Nasarawa State

Officials of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) are yet to arrive polling units in Lafia, the capital city of Nasarawa State.

Our correspondent who visited most of the polling units met voters waiting endlessly without any official of the commission to kick start the process.

At Kofa Gayam open space in Gayam ward, Lafia local government where the state governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura and his wife Dr Mairo Almakura are to vote , no INEC staff has arrive.
