There was excitement at Kuje Prison, Abuja as inmates were excited to see former Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal, Alex Badeh (retd.) in Prison.
This came barely a year after the former CDS was in power as the Chief of Defence Staff. It was also learnt that Badeh rejected the prison food and opted to sponsor his own food, an indulgence given to those awaiting trial.
Badeh was taken into prison custody on March 7 by an order from the Federal High Court, Abuja on 10 counts of money laundering.
The ex-CDS should be out of prison by Monday after completing his bail conditions.
