The special adviser to the Governor of Enugu State on Inter-Party affairs, Rt. Hon. Barr. Jonathan Chukwuma has stated that Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi will surmount the present insecurity challenges bedeviling the state, while declaring that ‘no amount of mayhem in the state can bring the lion down.’
The former deputy speaker of Enugu state house of Assembly was reacting to killings of policemen and razing down of Iwollo Police Division in Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State a few days ago.
Speaking in his Enugu residence on Thursday evening, the SPA on Inter-Party affairs to Ugwuanyi described the governor as a ‘five star governor’ without blemish of any kind in his records as chief servant leader of Enugu State.
“There is no amount of Mayhem that can bring Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi down. Not insecurity. Not blackmail. Not anything. Nothing.
“Let them get this very clear in their minds – the governor has crossed the rubicon. He has long before now, overcome his traducers.
“Simply put: they are coming behind schedule.
“Suffice it to say that our governor is known for his peaceful nature across the globe. And this is why the state is home of every Igbo man. This what every Nigerian knows,” he concluded.
The SPA however, cautioned Governor Ugwuanyi’s detractors and evil doers to use alternative route as there is no room for illicit or sinister activities in Enugu state.
