Following incessant attacks and increasing criminal cases in Kaduna and environs, Kaduna Command, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC),  has created nine additional Divisional offices and three more Area Commands including several outposts, across the 23 Local Government Areas of the state.
The State Commandant, Idris Yahaya Adah, on Tuesday, said Kaduna state now has six area commands and 31 Divisional offices across the 23 Local Government Areas.
He said officers and men of the corps are battle ready to face criminals and bandits in the state.
In a statement by NSCDC Public Relations Officer in the state,
DSC Habeeb Badamasi, it noted that the establishment of nine additional Divisional offices, Area commands,  outposts,  followed the approval by the Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi to create more Area Commands,  and Divisional offices.
He said the aim is to get closer to the people, protect them against terrorists, criminals and Federal Government infrastructures across the state.
The state Commandant further stated that the presence of NSCDC officers and men in remote villages, communities, across the 23 Local Government area of the state, would further boost residents’  confidence to go about their normal businesses  without fear of being attack by criminal minded persons.
Commandant Adah who thanked the CG Audi for his foresight, intellectual approach to security matters, further ordered immediate redeployment of officers to the newly established offices across the state.
