STORIES BY RITA OKOYE

Liberia-born Nigeria-based Nollywood actress, Blessing Brown, has revealed that she is ready to act nude as long as the pay is right and in hard currency.

“For $1 million perhaps I will think about it. Let us see how it goes, I don’t know for now but I can give it a shot if the money is attractive,” she hinted about acting nude.

However, Brown says she is not ready to go under the knife to enhance her anatomy. Hear her: “I don’t want to go for plastic surgery. My boobs are firm and okay. Even though my butt is not that big I like it; I just like the way I am made.”

Funke Akindele’s new glow!

Funke Akindele’s household is still in celebration mood following her musician husband, JJC Skillz, recently turning 40.

Ever since, the Jenifa’s Diary star hasn’t stopped expressing her joy on social media, revealing that she would go for the singer whose real name is Abdulrasheed Bello over and over again.
To complete their joy, Funke and JJC brought down his three kids from different baby mamas to mark his big day and they had a lovely family photo shoot.

On his part, JJC seizes every little opportunity to flaunt his wife and just can’t stop talking about how lucky he was to have landed the actress as wife.

On August 23, 2016, the couple had a London wedding in the presence of friends and family members. Akindele’s first marriage to Kehinde Almoroof Oloyede lasted barely a year before it packed up amid controversy.

Controversy trails Mimi Orjiekwe’s new baby

During the week, actress Mimi Orjiekwe welcomed a cute baby girl named Jasmine. However, before the baby’s delivery on Monday, April 2, news had gone viral that her actor husband, Charles Billion, was not the father of the child because they have been separated for quite some time.

But in an interview he granted recently, Billion had stated that his marriage to Mimi is still intact, and that they live in the same house in Lagos: “We are still married. I saw reports online that we had parted ways. I don’t know where that came out from. People quarrel and settle, so when they say we parted ways, I don’t know where that came from. We are together. She lives in my house in Lagos,” he explains.

On how he is looking forward to fatherhood, the actor said: “Trust me, that is what every young man looks out for. It is a blessing from God.”

But then, eyebrows are being raised as he’s yet to acknowledge the birth of his  ‘daughter’ and Mimi on her Instagram post didn’t tag or mention him as the father of the baby.

Rather, Billion has been busy on social media canvassing for votes for his favourite Big Brother Naija contestant, Tboss, and has never made a single post about the birth of the baby.

However, Mimi had posted a ‘meme’ with a message that sent tongues wagging: “It takes more to be a father than just donating sperm.”

Was the actress giving a hint that all was not well with her marriage?

My Lagos Diaries is about challenges of city life –Tony Rapu

Freedom Foundation, a faith based non-profit organisation, in collaboration with God Bless Nigeria, has premiered My Lagos Diaries, a television series which features four stories about people whom the organisation has come in contact with over the last 10 years.

Founder of Freedom Foundation, Dr Tony Rapu said: “My Lagos Diaries is a first-hand experience of challenges people face trying to survive in the city of Lagos. Since inception, the Freedom Foundation has transformed and positively impacted several lives in impoverished communities and this led to the creation of this video journal which documents 10 years of my team’s experiences in these areas.

My Lagos Diaries’ ultimate goal is to sensitize the general public about the struggles of underprivileged people while providing an opportunity for interested individuals and organisations to support Freedom Foundation’s vision via donations and funding.”

The series tells real stories of rehabilitated prostitutes, armed robbers, drug addicts, beggars and other neglected individuals in the society.

What motivated him to take up the project?  “My driving passion as a leader has always been to help the segment of the society such as the vulnerable and poor people who cannot really help themselves and that is what Freedom Foundation is all about.”
