Popular Music Executive and talent manager, Dami Adenuga who has carved out a niche for himself in the digital marketing world and won himself into the hearts of many A’lis music stars, has said it is time for the world to embrace the Afrobeat sound.
With the sound already penetrating music sounds across the globe and fast becoming the modern sound, Adenuga insisted that understanding music is one thing embracing a genre that would continue to play major role in song creation is another key to success.
Adenuga maintained that he and his members of the DAW Empire team was already working behind the scenes on how Nigerian music stars and their counterparts from Africa will continue to stay on top of the global music charts with the Afrobeat sound.
He added that he would love to see stars from Africa take the game further and prove to the international counterparts that the African sound is unique and should be celebrated.
“For me, I think Afrobeat has evolved and it is time for Nigerian artists and others from Africa to take the game to the next level. I strongly believe that as much as we have some Nigerian music stars making the African continent proud on the global scene, we should do more to show the world we have what it takes to be where we are”, he added.
