A renowned Tele Evangelist and General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry, Pastor Lazarus Muoka has said that the exploits made by his ministry in the areas of touching lives in the last 20 year of its establishment could not have been possible if not for the grace and directives of God.
He stated this in a conference in preparation for the Church’s anniversary celebration slated for Sunday, 18th December, 2022 at the Church’s headquarters, Odofin Park Estate, by Ijesha bis stop, Lagos, said the progress made by the church in the last twenty years, could not have been possible without God.
Established on 24th December, 2002 in a small space at Ilasamaja, Lagos State, Muoka said the Church has now grown to occupy hectres of land at Odofin Park Estate, by Ijesha bus stop, as it’s headquarters, and has also spread to almost every nooks and crannies of the continents of the world, winning souls, releasing the captives and changing lives for better.
He also hinted that the ministry was established according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and today, it is spreading like a wild fire to Asia, Europe, America , Australia, and other continents of the world. “There has been testimonies upon testimonies. By the grace and power of God, the church has touched armed robbers, lesbians, prostitutes, kidnappers, killers, many others criminally minded people and made them born-again Christians. In fact, if not this ministry, I don’t know what Nigeria and the entire world would have become. Here, sicknesses and diseases are healed, captives are set free, lives are being saved and many people have testified of unimaginable miracles and how God delivered them in the Lord’s Chosen.”
Muoka gave an instance on how a 55 year-old man and his 40 year-old wife spoke for the first time during Lord’s Chosen crusade in Osun State recently, and attributed such miracle to the great hand work of God. “At the Osun State on first Sunday of December, something happened during the deliverance session, when we said those who could not see should begin to see and those who could hear should begin to hear, a 55 year-old man who was deaf and dumb from birth, began to hear and speak, and before you noticed it, a 40 year-old woman came, wearing the same colour of clothe the man was wearing, showing that she was his wife. The woman was also deaf and dumb, and two of them instantly spoke and heard on the spot. There were also another 12 year- old, 25 year-old and twins who have not spoken for two years, they started speaking there at the crusade ground. So why, I use this ministry is to prove to you that the power of God is real, everywhere. We have not gone to anywhere and God disappointed us, we have gone to Osun State and prevailed by the grace of God. There, we proved to people that God is real and he is real indeed..”
He further explained that many Nigerians enjoy peace in the land, without knowing how it came about. “Churches like the Lord’s Chosen are in constant prayers for the nation and the world. A good instance is the Covid-19 Pandemic , when the scientists predicted that Africa would be a death field, the prediction was averted due to the intercessory prayers of The Lord’s Chosen Church and other anointed churches. During, the time of Corona virus, it is something that was so pronounced and sometimes people don’t know the source of what they are enjoying, they just wake up enjoying things, not knowing how the things came about. Africa was said to have the greatest effect of Corona virus, what happened? When we heard the news, we decided that we are going to prove that we are serving God, and that came to pass.”
On the 10 billion souls mandate, an assignment by God, the Tele Evangelist stated that even though the population of the world is not as high as 10 billion, the mandate extends to generations yet unborn. “The 10 billion souls mandate is from God and nothing would stop it. As I speak , we are making serious progress in that direction. We are busy going round the world, winning souls for God. In fact, we are making remarkable progress.”
Muoka regretted that as a result of the wonderful work God is doing through his anointed servant, by rolling away diseases and sicknesses; hospitals and native healers began to lose patients, as a result, persecutions and attacks come from different quarters. “No matter the circumstances, with God on our side, the agents of darkness cannot stop us.”
Muoka disclosed that it has not been all rosy in the last twenty year, saying that there have been moments of great challenges and tribulations, but God made it possible for the church to be victorious. “Obviously, the devil will go wherever there is good thing, but I would say that God has taken care of the challenges we had and is still there for us.
“As we are about celebrating two decades of God’s faithfulness, we give Him all the glory as one who established us in the realm of the spirit. Many said it will not last, little did they know that it was not the project of man, all those that gave false prophets against us failed. When all those things were happening, we did not know that God wanted to use them to advertise us.”
On the 2023 election, the reputable and reverred cleric said that the role of servants of God and the entire Christians is to pray for a peaceful and successful election, so that Nigerians will have a fresh breath of life from the God ordained leader as president, after going through many challenges in the country. “In life, everyone has a role to play. We are playing our own role as Christians and we are doing that effectively. We need peace and progress. In fact, it is our prayers that are helping the nation and we will continue to intercede for God’s grace to abound.”
