A jealous man, 30, may be facing attempted murder for allegedly shooting his younger sister’s boyfriend in Ogun State.

The suspect, Michael, who was arrested by Ogun State Police Command, told investigators that he had warned the victim, Tobi Olabisi, to stop having a love affair with his younger sister, but he wouldn’t listen.

He said that to make the matter worse, the lover boy had the courage to come to sleep with her sister in her room.

A senior police officer, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, as he was not supposed to speak with the press, said, “the suspect is very lucky that the victim didn’t die, he would have faced a murder charge.

But the victim survived the attack, so as it is, the suspect will be facing an attempted murder charge. But, let him pray harder that the victim doesn’t die.”
