All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari has defeated the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar in Jigawa.
The result, which was declared by the Vice Chancellor of Danfodio University, Sokoto and Jigawa State Collation Officer, Professor Abdullahi Abdu Zuru said, President Muhammad Buhari polled 794,738 votes to defeat Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of PDPthat polled 289,895 votes.
President Buhari won in all the 27 local government of Jigawa State and defeated PDP candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar with a clear margin of 504,843 votes.
