It was a weekend of fun and entertainment, as golfers and guests savoured vintage Cruz vodka and Magnum cream liquor from the stable of Tanamont Nigeria Ltd at the Captain’s Day competition for the outgoing Captain Akin Areola, which held at Ikeja Golf Club, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.
After the energy sapping ‘chip in – chip out’ with the iron flicks, golfers, guests and sponsors proceeded for a banquet dinner at the newly commissioned luxurious clubhouse. Led by Zainab Oluwayemisi Folami, the Tanamont team had a tough time shuffling through the tables and VIP guests with trays of chilled, smooth and sensual Magnum cream liquor, while luxury premium Cruz vodka was also served as an exceptional ‘cruise control’ spirit to inebriate the stomach, as ageless folklorist, Jimi Solanke dished out melodious tunes.
However, the Tanamont’s flagship brand, Beniella Curiositas cognac, attracted great interest and exuded intense feelings by the guests. The signature spirit with 10 years cask distillation was presented by Joseph Akpan as a distinctive spirit at the party, and this added a classy French haute vin culture amidst prestige connoisseur style.
The Captain’s golf overall net trophy was won by Muideen Olaitan while Abubakar Ayuba, Taiwo Adewole and Pastor Femi Faseru picked up second, third and fourth prizes respectively in the men’s category.
