Jubilant youths have taken to the streets of Abuja to celebrate the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari in the just concluded presidential election held on Saturday.

The youths mostly traders, artisans commercial motorcycle operators took their celebrations to the ever busy Abuja-Keffi road and blocked it thereby preventing motorists and other road users from accessing it.

To ensure that the jubilation does not get out of control, some soldiers from the Army Headquarters Garrison as well as the police, have been drafted to the area to maintain law and order.

A visit to the scene showed that the soldiers were trying to plead with the youths to leave the road to allow motorists have free access bearing in mind that it gateway to Plateau, Bauchi, Benue, Adamawa, Borno, Yobe, Gombe states.

About the time of filing this report, the security personnel were still battling to get the youths to vacate the road and dismantle the roadblock they mounted on the road.
