President Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday, met behind closed doors with the leadership of the National Assembly.

The president had earlier arrived from Daura, his hometown, after last Saturday’s APC ward congress.

The meeting reportedly started around 2:00p.m when the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara arrived the President’s office.

It was gathered that the 2018 Budget proposal submitted to National Assembly in November, last year, and which was yet to be passed formed the fulcrum of their discussions.
