Former president Olusegun Obasanjo, on Tuesday, told President Muhammadu Buhari, to forget seeking re-election in 2019.

Rather, Obasanjo said the president should consider a deserved rest at his age.

Obasanjo, who called for coalition for Nigeria movement of well-meaning Nigerians to salvage and redeem the country which, he said, he was ready to be part of, also noted national interest was being sacrificed on the altar of nepotism by the President Buhari’s administration.

This was contained in an 18-page letter entitled: “The Way Out: A Clarion Call for Coalition for Nigeria Movement”, written by the former president and made available to newsmen, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, capital.
