The All Progressives Congress (APC) ward congress for Katsina State says last weekend’s ward congresses in the 361 wards across the 34 local government areas were hitch-free.

Briefing the press, on Monday, on the conduct of the congresses, the Committee Chairman, Mohammed Tanko Zakari said, “We had peaceful congresses and so far, there has not been any formal complaints of petitions from anywhere concerning the exercise.

“We are still collating the results and for now we have reports from 30 out of the 34 local government areas.”

Zakari who is also the APC Deputy National Treasurer, said that an appeal committee was on ground to handle any complaints concerning the congresses.
