The Inter-Party Advisory Council of Nigeria (IPAC), in Kebbi State, has impeached it Chairman, Hon. Nasiru Mogaji.

Mogaji’s impeachment followed series of allegations that centered on financial impropriety.

Daily Sun gathered that of 28 members of the IPAC present at the meeting, 22 signed the impeachment register which was carried out, on Wednesday night.

In the resolution statement made available to Daily Sun after their meeting and signed by its Secretary, Aliyu Ibrahim Master, declared that  Mogaji’s removal took effects from July 18.

  According to the statement, “We, the under-signed, in line with the provision of our constitution, sat and resolved through unanimous voting, passed a vote of no  confidence over the leadership of Nasiru Magaji with effect from today 19th Day of July, 2017”.

They alleged that the former chairman involved in financial impropriety, discriminatory practices against members,lacking in secrecy, sabotaging government efforts to maintain cordiality with other political parties, reckless handling of organisation’s documents and non convening of meeting throughout the year among other allegations.

The organisation added that: “Following the above reasons, he is hereby impeached through unanimous votes. Anyone who deals or transacts any business with him on behalf IPAC does so at his own risk “.

Ibrahim Master, while addressing journalists after meeting, assured the public that they would implement rules and order among its members.
