 The Kebbi State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) has inaugurated its gubernatorial campaign council.
   While inaugurating the Council, Governorship candidate of the party, Major-General(rtd) Aminu Bande, urged the members of the Campaign Council to vigorously market the Presidential gubernatorial candidates of the party as well as other candidates of the party contesting in the 2023 general elections.
 He said: “as you all  aware, on the 28th September, 2022,our  Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar inaugurated the Presidential Campaign council. Today’s,  we are inaugurating the Gubernatorial campaign Council(GCC) which is very historical. I want to congratulate you and to let you know that your choice as the members of the council was due to your track record, recognition and integrity”.
Bande who urged them to start their work immediately, said that they must shoulder the responsibilities of wooing more people to the PDP and campaign for the victory of PDP Presidential candidate, himself in the 2023 general elections.
  He added that, their appointment was a clarion call which they must guide with all sense of responsibility, stressed that, they must work harder to ensure all the PDP candidates won their elections at all levels.
 In his remark, the Deputy Governorship candidate of the party, Alhaji Samaila Salihu, described the inauguration of the Campaign Council in the state as  historical event in the democratic period of the state.
 He urged all the party members and the members of the Campaign Council to start working by penetrate the wards, local government areas to wooing members of the other political parties into the PDP.
  The former APC Chairman, Architect Bala Sanni Kangiwa, also urged members of the campaign council to lure members of the ruling party into the main opposition to ensure total victory of the party in the 2023 general elections.
  Earlier, the Director General of the Gubernatorial campaign council, Kebbi State, Alhaji Abubakar Shehu, appealed to party members to go back to their wards, LGAs, marketing all the party’s candidates for the victory in the 2023 general elections.
