Four indigenes of Kalgo town, in Kalgo Local government Area of Kebbi State were killed in ghastly road accident at Giria village along Kalgo-Bunza Road, on Sunday.

It was gathered that the deceased were Alkali Nafiu Danguru, Mallam Aliu Bangu, Bonto Kalgo and one unidentified passenger, who were all travelling to a village in Bunza in a small car before another  big vehicle had an head collision with them and trapped the victims .

Eyewitness revealed that before anybody could reached them for assistance, they have gave up the ghost because their car was trapped underneath of the big vehicle.

The source, who disclosed that the victims were indigenes of Kalgo said their funeral prayer for the dead was led by Seriki Malami Kalgo at Kalgo Seriki Palace, on Sunday morning.

When contacted, the state’s Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO) DSP Suleiman Mustapha, confirmed the incident in a telephone interview with Daily Sun.

He explained that there were ” Four passengers from Kalgo, two from Jega in small car and the big vehicle had head collision with them. The small car was trapped under the big car.”
