KMAI Anniversary/Awards is here again! This is a biennial Awards events powered by Keeping Marriage Alive Initiative, a nongovernmental organisation founded by Mrs Ngozi (Ngee) Okonkwo and her husband, Dr. Richard (Rich) Okonkwo after their near divorce saga.

This award is tailored to celebrate the heroes of our time, who in spite of the lowered standard of our society have chosen to take the “path less travelled by living a life of faithfulness, love, integrity, humility, influence and the fear of God against all odds”.

Why the Award Ceremony?

We believe strongly that family is the DNA of the society and when we celebrate families with right values, it reflects on the society.

This award cuts across all social strata, who have done well in their area of expertise while upholding the family front.

We’ve had the likes of Prof. Pat Utomi(A former Presidential aspirant), Kechi Okwuchi(Top10 finalist,  American Got Talent), Cosmas Okoli (MAARDEC), Igwe brothers and many others.

This year, we will be celebrating another set of great minds, a young woman who is breaking the glass ceiling in politics. We are also celebrating a couple who withstood health challenges for decades while striving in love.

We are also excited about the community influencers who are using their foundation for good, especially in the area of curbing drug addiction and other harmful vices.

Lastly, mothers and fathers are not left out as they are being celebrated for playing a significant role in building the society.

This award celebration is a clarion call for everyone who believes that family is an important part of the society.

Don’t miss the KMAI 9th Anniversary and Awards 2022, as all roads lead to Nkem Event Centre, 32 road, Festac Town, Lagos on Sunday, 26th June, 2022.
