The Kwara Government has fixed March 15 as date for commencement of the interview for the 9,991 applicants who met the cutoff for the ongoing SUBEB/TESCOM teaching jobs.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Press Secretary, Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, Mr Yakub Ali-Agan, on Friday in Ilorin.
He advised the candidates to bring the original copies of their certificates for sighting and on-the-spot online verification.
“All applicants are also required to bring scratch cards for WAEC/NECO/NABTEB or any secondary school leaving certificates they may have presented for the exercise.
”This is to allow panelists/representatives of the various examination bodies to fact-check their (applicants’) school leaving certificates.
”The applicants will have their O’level results verified online as they appear for interview.
“Only applicants with valid secondary school leaving certificates will proceed to the next stage of the screening/interview,” the statement read in part.
It added that the interview scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. daily, would have the SUBEB category come first.
”Applicants are to check their portals from Sunday, March 7 for their venue and to print their notification slips embossed with their passport photographs.
”Applicants from Kaiama, Asa, Baruten, Edu and Patigi are scheduled for March 15 in Ilorin.
”Applicants from Ilorin South, Isin, Oke Ero and Ekiti are to make appearances on Tuesday March 16.
”Wednesday March 17 is scheduled for applicants from Offa, Oyun, and Irepodun; while those from Ifelodun, Moro, and Ilorin East will be screened on Thursday, March 18.
”Those from Ilorin West are scheduled for Friday, March 19; while non-Kwara applicants will be screened alongside with spillovers from Ilorin West on Saturday March 20,” the statement added.
It however noted that the interview and screening of results for TESCOM applicants would hold from Monday, March 22, in Ilorin in the same order as above. (NAN)
