From Kenneth Udeh

Ahead of the forthcoming 2023 General elections Hundreds of constituents from Offa Local Government Area of Kwara South on Thursday took to the streets to rally support for the second term re-election of Senator representing Kwara South at the Senate, Senator Lola Ashiru.

Assessing his representation which they described as “outstanding” , the constituents drawn from Shawo Central Ward commenced their House- to- House campaign in support of Senator Ashiru Lola and other candidates of the All Progressive’s Congress (APC).

The numerous works of Senator Lola, candidate of the ruling APC in the state were propagated to other residents while the constituents engaged in the door to door campaign activities on the need for the Kwara South Senator to be returned to the Senate in 2023.

The mini rally was presided by prominent youth leader Hon. Taofeek Omoluabi led other members of the APC in canvassing electorates in their various households to support and vote for reelection bids of Senator Lola Ashiru, the state Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as well as other Presidential Candidates including the party’s Presidential Campaign, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Speaking during the rally ,Taofeek canvassed the residents to vote for APC candidates; “Distinguished Senator Ashiru has in many ways surrendered himself for the Community’s services even before he joined the Political Elites on the floor of the Senate.

“So infairness with his worthwhile antecedence, he really deserves the uninterrupted second term as working in favour of this cause is significantly tantamount to the promotion of growth and development in our community.

The ward campaigners were received by excited members of the town that have resolved to cast their vote for all APC candidates in the next general Election.
