Consequent on the recent approval of the perimeter fencing of the NYSC Orientation Camp, Yikpata,Edu LGA Kwara State by the Executive Governor of KWARA State, Mallam Abdulrazaq Abdurahman; The first phase of the project has commenced.
It will be recalled over the years, that the lack of perimeter fencing has been a major challenge to maintaining effective security apparatus on the camp.
It was therefore on this premise that the Kwara State Government, as part of its responsibility in ensuring the safety of lives and property of citizens  embarked on the said project .
While inspecting the commencement of the first phase of the project, the   State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps, Kwara state, Mrs. Francisca Olaleye  expressed her satisfaction on the  progress of the work so far and applauded the Governor for being NYSC friendly and appreciated him for the support and  his positive posture towards the further development of the scheme in the state.
Mrs Olaleye further  disclosed that the 2022  Batch C Stream II Orientation Course officially opened on Wednesday,30th November 2022 with   about 1600 Prospective Corps Members being  expected in KWARA State.
