The National Music Director of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Kunle Ajayi, has disclosed that this year’s edition of Marathon Messiah’s Praise of the church would be awesome and overwhelming.
The 4-day programme would kick-off on Monday February 24 and ends on Thursday February 28, 2019. According to Ajayi, the event has been set aside to usher participants into an uncommon grace through praise and worship. He stated: “Seven years ago, when this vision was revealed, Marathon Praise has never ceased to take effect in Nigeria and beyond, yielding good record every year.”
On his part, the event coordinator, Pastor Femi Oyetunde, revealed that the theme of the programme is ‘Jesus the Light of the World’. He added that the previous MM Praise, which was 76, has been dominating till date, taking effect in 24 countries of the world including Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, Ghana USA, Canada, England, Australia, Spain, Scotland, New Zealand, Brazil, Israel Sweden and United Arab Emirates.
Special Assistant to the General Overseer, RCCG, Pastor E.A Adebayo, Leke Adebayo, assured that there will be powerful ministrations during the programme, adding that some gospel artistes are prepared to thrill the audience, as over three million television viewers across the globe are expected to participate in the prayer sessions.
