Four Landlords abducted in border towns between Lagos and Ogun States have been released by their captors. The abductors also released  four other members of the community that were abducted at Agbowa last week, bringing the number of the kidnapped persons released to eight.
The kidnappers had placed a N1.2billion ransom on the Isheri victims, but it was not clear if any ransom was paid for their release.
The eight victims were coincidentally released  by their captors and were reunited with their family.
The Agbowa victims,were identified as;  Toyosi Aboderin, Ogechi Maku, Toju Amorighoye, and funniyi Tayo Lawal a baby .They were reunited with the family at about 01:30am .
The Isheri victims , Dr Bello Omololu, Esang Fidelis, Kennedy Ucheagwu, Olalere Olawale were also reunited with their families at about 12 am of same date.
The spokesperson for the police in Lagos Dolapo Badmos, a Superintendent of Police who confirmed the report, said the pressure and the heat mounted on the kidnappers by the command in partnership with its Ogun state counterpart made the criminals to abandon their mission and release their victims.
Badmus said the police has launched a serious manhunt for the kidnappers,thanking members of the public whose cooperation contributed safe release of the victims.
As at press time,their was wild jubilation at the Isheri area over the release of the victims.
