Late Lt. Col. Mohammed Abu Ali wins Hero of the Year, Naira rains on family

Late Lt. Col. Mohammed Abu Ali wins post humous Political Icon of the Year. The Late Col. Ali was Commander, 72 Task Force died on November 4, 2016. The award was presented to his wife and children. The award was presented by Managing Director of the Sun Newspaper, Eric Osagie, Mike Awoyinfa to the family.

The Sun newspaper presented N200, 000 to the family. Governor Ibikunle Amosun added N1 million to the donation. Governor Nyesom Wike added N1.5 million to it. Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu added N1 million for the Senate. The House of Representatives added N1 million to it. Hon Wole Oke, a former member of the House of Representatives added N2,5 million. Another donor added N1 million to it.

The PDP House caucus stole donated with a donation of N5 million to the late Col. Abu Ali family.  APC caucus. The APC caucus in the House stole the day with  the donation of N6 million.
