it was an exciting moment for the pupils, parents and management of Legend Sunshine Nursery and Primary School, Kirikiri, Lagos, as the school held its graduation and prizegiving day recently.

The gaily-dressed pupils thrilled the parents as they displayed their talents through taekwondo, choreography and other presentations.

Mrs. Adedewa Adesina, proprietress of the school said: “We have inculcated in them (pupils) the spirit to strive for excellence in everything they do; to expand their horizons beyond academics and mould them through a wide range of talents. This gives them the skills and experience to succeed and become leaders in the global world.

“The quality of education given to each child has not dropped since inception of the school. We have qualified teachers who are ready and willing to give the best to the pupils.”

She stated that the school has a balanced curriculum, which included art and craft to encourage the children to use their hands to do creative innovations. She advised the children to make good use of the holiday by reading and equally go for summer school.

The guest speaker, Mrs. Larry Augustine, charged parents to be role models to their children, saying that when parents do the right things the kids would emulate good moral conducts.
