Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has call on all Biafra groups which includes IPOB, MASSOB, BNC, BIM, BLC, BIAFRA-ZIONIST members to avoid any form of parades, display of Biafra flags/rallies  and solidarity protests on May 30th /31st  so as to avoid confrontations with security forces.

In a statement, Secretary General of the Igbo Apex socio cultural group, Maxi Okechukwu Isigwuzoro said IPOB of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Biafra National Council of Asari Dokubo, MASSOB of Uchenna Madu, BIM of Ralph Uwazurike , Biafra-Zionist of Ben Onwuka and others are all our children, we urge them avoid  arm struggles and desist from activities capable of Militarization of southeast and Niger Delta.
“Its our commitment to enforce on all of the agitators,” self discipline, mutual understanding and strict adherence to the tenets of non violent agitations  and universal accepted norms of self determination ” , Ndigbo will continue to identify with them until there are total restructuring of the country and end of marginalization of south Eastern Nigeria by the Federal Government.
Ohanaeze Ndigbo ask all Biafra agitators to go along with the request of Southeast Governors led by Governor David Umahi,” of giving them (Governors)the grace of 6 months to negotiate with Federal Government and end marginalization of southeast.
“Inasmuch as we are imploring on the Southeast Governors of using the window of”June 12 Democracy Day” to release all Biafra agitators In all the  southeast Correction Service Centres  through “STATE PARDON ” especially in Imo state where the state government announced the random arrests of 109 innocent people mainly Youths, Governor Uzodinma’s  re-affirmation recently that 70% of unknown gun men are not igbos, on this information gathering, we request for the immediate and unconditional release of all the innocent youths arrested by Imo state government.
