Wife of the General Overseer/Founder of World Evangelism Incorporated (WEBIC), Prophetess Mercy Ayorinde, has advised Christians to have a rethink so as to attract God’s mercy. She said hypocrisy is responsible for delay in achieving set goals. She gave the charge in Lagos recently as a guest of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) during its 70th Annual Convention at the Redemption Camp, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Mowe, Ogun State.
On the divine encounter, she recalled that God said: “I want my children to live and eat holy. Am not happy with the mode of dressing of my people especially women among them. My children claim they are born-again, but are not holy.
“They don’t practice what they preach. I want them to retrace their steps and truly serve me.” She urged Christians to shun bitterness, wickedness and hatred to enjoy the goodness of God.
Ayorinde advised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to provide a level playing field to bring out leaders that fear God.
She told politicians not to make politics a do-or-die affair while urging them to be peaceful:
“Nigerian economy is on paralysis. Government must make the naira competitive with other currencies. The exchange rate of the naira is killing the economy because many companies are shutting down as a result of high cost of doing business in the country. This is responsible for job losses.”
