Award winning songwriter, gospel singer and humanitarian, Elizabeth Chukwu Moses aka Liza C, recently shook Ijesha and its environ to its foundation, as she held her ‘15 Years of Passion Street Concert’ at the Ijesha Market open ground, Ijesha, Surulere, Lagos.
The event, which also featured various acts like Nene Ukoh, Ayo Vincent and Segun Obe among others, lived up to its expectation, as Liza rendered ‘Ogapatapata’ a track from her album that gingered the audience.
In her remarks, Liza C affirmed thus: “We came to dispense the word of God through music to the people of Ijesha. Basically, the concert is about 15 years of music, 15 years of success, 15 years of passion, and 15 years of evangelism through music, and a whole lot of things that God has done for me. It is important to fulfill your passion and that is what I’m doing with the support of my friends. It’s awesome’
Liza C had played in highbrow places and did concerts but those are for the elites and she needed to come to the grassroots like Ijesha to reach out to the people. She, in the course of the event, distributed items like children wears, trainers and toys among others.
“God has given me so much that I decided to give back to the less privileged. I’m a woman driven by passion and vision, when an idea comes to me, I want to execute it and take it to the next level. Besides, if it’s only a soul that is blessed today, I’m fulfilled.”
