The top scorer of the recently concluded Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Junior Lokosa has suffered another set back in his bid to take his trade abroad after trials with second division Chinese side Heilongjiang Lava Spring FC.
Lokosa and fellow NPFL ace Destiny Ashadi of Katsina United spent time in training with the club in their bid to secure a deal but while they have deferred a decision on Ashadi, the club won’t be signing Lokosa.
Owngoalnigeria.com exclusively gathered that 24 year old Lokosa will however be considered if the club succeed in their bid to trade off one of the foreign players on their books.
Presently the club are in no rush to sign new players as the league will be rounding up this weekend and the Nigerian duo are expected to be back in the country next week with Ashadi most likely to return if he impresses in the next few days.
