Amongst the many top angel investors is Netz Capital, which has set its foot in the angel investment realm and are planning to be on the top of the game soon. The idea is the brainchild of German professional footballer, Luca Schnetzler, popularly known as Luca Netz. “We are right now focussing on investing in tech startups that are showing a hint of growth in the near future,” says Luca. In its latest developments, Netz Capital made its first round of investment in Chirpish, which is a service company providing executives who are experienced in all kinds of customer support services like phone support, live chat, email support, and social media guidance. When asked what made him decide about this company to go ahead with investing, Luca says, “Chirpish offers a round-the-clock customer support service and with the increasing number of companies in the US which require a huge workforce to manage their customer relations which include handling tickets, chats and phone support, this was the right choice as it showed tremendous potential. After analyzing the pros and cons of the company Netz Capital decided to invest in it.”
Apart from Chirpish, Lucas’ angel investment firm has also invested in other tech startups like Social SnowBall which is an affiliate marketing app and Steam Commerce which is an end-to-end e-commerce solution provider for businesses. Luca says that his firm has also extended its branches and tried to step on other territories like direct-to-consumer brands for exponential projected profits. One of the major reasons in investing in DTC brands is that the manufacturer has complete control over profits as there are no commission agents or middlemen and the product directly reaches the consumers. One such brand that has shown immense potential is Vibe in which Netz Capital has invested. The reason for choosing this brand is that it has emerged as one of the most recognized brands in the personal care products arena.
“Netz Capital has till date made huge investments in startups which have shown the slightest potential to grow and after analysing it deeply, we have invested in them,” concludes Luca.
