From Abel Leonard, Lafia

The Director General of the Atiku/Okowa and Ombugadu/Ohinoyi Campaign Council of Nasarawa State, Mr. Labaran Maku, has accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa of a plot to disenfranchise the people from voting on the day of the election.

Maku made the statement, yesterday, during the campaign rally of PDP, in Kokona Local Government Area of the state, urging women not to sell their votes or allow themselves to be used by anybody who might want to exchange their PVCs for a loan. “It is a ploy to disenfranchise you,” he warned.

Lamenting the prevailing hardship and insecurity Nigerians have been facing since 2015 election, he maintained that Nigeria needed a change.
