From Aloysius Attah, Onitsha

The Chief Ralph Uwazuruike-led Movement for the Actualisation of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) and Biafran Independent Movement (BIM) have disclosed their unwavering commitment towards achieving the Biafran republic and announced its readiness for this year’s Ojukwu’s memorial lecture/anniversary.
MASSOB-BIM leader in charge of Awka Zone, Chief Vincent Iloh, in a statement issued yesterday in Onitsha, disclosed that leaders of the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC),   Chief Fredrick Fasehun, Niger Delta Volunteer Force (NDVF), Mujaheed Asari Dokubo and former Chief Security Officer to the late Sani Abacha, Hamza Al-Mustapha among others would attend the ceremony on November 26.
Iloh said the event would bring to the fore the fact that the unaddressed issues which led to the declaration of Biafran Republic by Chief Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu and the attendant civil war that lasted for three years between 1967 and 1970 were still alive.
He praised Uwazuruike for promoting the erstwhile MASSOB-BIM zonal leaders into MASSOB-BIM  leaders for the New Nation-Biafra. He noted that they have implicit faith that Uwazuruike would lead them to the Promised Land.
