If you had told Bright Sekoni that one day he would be running a multi billion naira real estate firm, he would have strongly disagreed.

Not because he thought little of himself, No, In fact, he has the confidence of the gods.

However, 2009, took a nosedive for him. It was the year, his father lost his job and the family lost everything.

Being the breadwinner when Bright’s father, lost his job, the entire family lost their primary means of feeding, shelter and every other basic needs became a luxury to be dreamt of, wished or prayed for. Soon, they began selling off properties , and his mother resorted to selling foods in little portions to provide for the family. It was a devastating time, especially for Bright and his sisters. At a young age, life pushed him to take responsibility for his family.

As the years went by, Bright moved from being sent away from school countless times, to moving from one place to the other,   fending for himself. From buying akube shoes (used shoes) to producing and marketing these shoes on campus. Bright’s entrepreneurial journey began in the then Lagos State University, he began building a reputation for himself on campus. Being someone with business acumen and a knack for networking and developing relationships, he soon started connecting with the right people. And soon he was able to save enough money to get a car to start an Uber business.

Being an Uber driver in Lagos, was a trying time for him. however, he was making a honest living, so that was all that mattered, but  he wanted to do more than drive or move people from one place to the other. He wanted to make a difference. It was the same thing he wanted for himself and his family and people around him.

He knew driving Uber from here to there, would never give him the generational wealth he wanted and dreamt of. He also knew what happened to his father could happen to anyone, hence, he must build a life of wealth and freedom. According to bright, at this point in is life was when he was introduced to Forex investing

He decided to invest into Forex Trading.
However, despite the fact that the Forex industry was a billion dollar industry, with incredible returns, it sent him into millions of debts and crippled him. He thus learnt that the Forex market is an unstable one that can ruin anyone regardless of your level of skill in trading and it could move mad anytime.

It took Bright six months to pay back the millions of debts that he owed through trading. He was able to do that through jaw breaking hard work and the few properties he had bought before that time.

Selling those properties and paying the debts was an eye opener to real estate investment And more than anything, how stable it was. This began a new journey.

Bright didn’t start by building Audacia Prime Realty. First, he needed to learn the ropes. Hence, the reason why he began working for Real Estate companies,  learning and developing. Soon, he built his first real estate firm in a joint partnership to over 150 million naira company, then exited, and started Audacia Prime Realty. In seven months, the company has directly and indirectly sold properties of over 4billion naira!It almost felt impossible. But he did it. You too can.

Bright Sekoni, has risen over the years to be an outstanding Real Estate Entrepreneur who is leading real estate community, with a positive impact on growing real estate businesses in Nigeria.

Bright has served in a variety of leadership roles as an Ambassador of the ECOWAS youth and a recipient of 2022 40 under 40 CEO Recognition Award. Recently a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Youth Advocacy for Good Governance (NYAGGI), a sister organization of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) conferred an award of excellence to him for his encouragement and service to humanity towards societal development and nation-building.
