The results for the Ondo State governorship election have started trickling in, and Governor Segun Mimiko, the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Rotimi Akeredolu and the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Eyitayo Jegede all won their polling units.
Jegede ‎voted in ward 2, Unit 9, Akure south, and won by 184 votes, while APC had 77, and the candidate for the Alliance for Democracy (AD), Olusola Oke, polled ‎32 votes.
In Mimiko’s unit 20, ward 7 of Ondo west, PDP polled 176 votes, APC polled 40 votes, while AD polled 15
votes.
In Akeredolu’s ‎ward 5, unit 6, Owo Local Government Area, he polled 413 votes, while PDP polled 13 votes and AD, 4‎ votes.
