He alleged that Mohammed’s house was used as arsenal where his gang members keep the weapons for operations, adding that kidnapped victims were also kept there.

The police boss said the Miyetti Allah leader cannot claim to be innocent as he was aware of the criminal activities of his relatives.

“The police have arrested eight herdsmen from a community of herdsmen resident behind the Asaba Airport.

“The head of Meyetti Allah is the one who keeps the arms used in kidnapping and armed robbery operations. All the persons arrested are his relations; they are either his sons, cousins or nephews.

“He has been charged to court as an accessory, because he knows the activities of his children and he tolerated their criminal acts.

“The arms are kept in his house, kidnap victims are kept in his house. He is the leader of the Fulani group in Delta State .We will not tolerate anyone who partakes in criminality,” the CP warned.
