Troyes and Nantes settled for a share of the spoils in their Ligue 1 clash at the Stade de l’Aube on Wednesday.

It was a goalless affair that left Nantes tethering just above the relegation zone in what has been a difficult League campaign.

Despite creating a number of chances, the Canaries struggled to make any count, as the attackers couldn’t find the ridge on their nose.

Nantes manager Antoine Kombouare had counted on his old guard including Nigerian winger Moses Simon, but Troyes did enough to stifle their threat.

Simon started the game, on his 15th appearance for the team this term, boasting a goal contribution of seven.

The 27 year-old was eventually substituted in the 84th minute where he only managed one shot on goal and 41 touches on the ball.

Nantes’ winless run in the league has now stretched to five games, where they’ve picked up only 4points from a possible 15points.
