The Blessed Hope Foundation, a non governmental organization has encouraged Nigerian youths to turn towards comedy, be focused and make comedy as a means of livelihood. The foundation added that every hard-working person enjoyed the benefits of their labour in the industry.

Speaking at the three million, Abuja comedy challenge show hosted by Chucks D General in partnership with the Blessed Hope Foundation held in Abuja. The convener of the foundation, Mrs Titilayo Eboh Mary said comedy is a very lucrative business and as a result they discovered that they are alot talents coming up in the industry but they do not have someone that will lift them up.

“The reason why I decided to partner with Chucks D General is that I believe in raising people up, being a voice of the voiceless. And I know that alot of young talents are up there and they did not have anybody that will lift them up. So Chucks D General told me about it I said that it is a good opportunity for us to assist the young talent in the comedy industry.

“My advice to the youths is that they should always continue to strive for the best in anything they are doing. No matter how challenging and once we put our hope that we are going to do the best, we will do the best.

“So after this we are going to do the next one in November and the grand finale is in December where the winner will go home with packages of about three million naira,” she added.

On his part, comedian, Oni Lukumon popularly know as aka Ambassador Wahala said, we are here for Abuja comedy challenge, where we want to discover new set of comedians who can represent our states and also be as a brand in the comedy industry because looking at us this comedy in the next 20 years to come and we need people who will take over from us.

“We see alot and we are leaving the final day at the Sheraton hotel in Abuja. And I want to let them know that the stage is cool and easy for you where you can take yourself to. And I’m beginning to see the new version of comedians in Abuja,” he said.

Director of logistics, Blessed Hope Foundation, Praise Eboh stressed that the organization will not laid back Blessed Hope Foundation has vowed to continue her charity works towards the vulnerable and orphanage homes to restore hope in the face of hopelessness. And with regards to its mindset Blessed Hope Foundation is ready to do much more for humanity as it affirms that the foundation still has in the pipeline loads of projects to lift human kind.

“Given the apt scenario Blessed Hope Foundation projectile is high up beyond the skies where she is confident of ensuring that the needs of the have nots are well attended to, a sign that the Foundation is fully prepared for higher achievements,” she said.
